The home page, at first glances keeps the reader interested immediately after a first glance. The use of pictures, color and page layout is well designed. Like other  online publication it offers access to share the news via facebook and Twitter and an excess to view videos via YouTube.
It provides audio slide shows a variety of national, African, Science and Technology, special reports, world news, opinion pieces and comments. Users of the website are able to comment on news of the day and if legitimate get published online.  
Today, the M&G Online is owned by M&G Media, which publishes the M&G newspaper and is 87,5% owned by Newtrust Company Botswana Limited, owned by Zimbabwean publisher and entrepreneur Trevor Ncube. The London-based Guardian Newspapers Limited holds 10% of the company and minority shareholders make up the rest. .
Chris Roper is the editor of M&G online and it works closely with the newspaper, but most importantly, for quality production purposes, it has its own editorial staff to cover breaking news on a daily basis  
The Star
The Star is also an independent online publication. It’s a well known news paper  in the country with a good circulation. The home page all on its own is an interactive, user friendly page. it offers a variety of national,  world, Africa, entertainment and Science &  Technology; special reports covering budget, CWC, SA politics, Zimbabwe, and  Aids. The home page all on its own has good pictures that would interest the reader.
It works closely with the newspaper, but most importantly, for quality production purposes, it has its own editorial staff to cover breaking news on a daily basis.
